Test Post III

It’s no secret the Yankees happen to be targeting a shortstop this offseason. Following a visit to Yankee Stadium earlier this week, Manny Machado is the number one priority in the Bronx as it stands. There is, however, another intriguing option on the market who shares the position with one Johnny Hustle himself: Troy Tulowitzki.

Test Post

Despite being one of the team’s top starting pitchers for the entirety of the 2019 season, Domingo German was not a part of the Yankees’ postseason run due to his suspension under Major League Baseball’s domestic violence policy. German was held out of the final week of the regular season, and the entirety of the playoffs - a total of 18 games in all - before finally getting hit with an 81 game suspension this winter that will carry into June.

Test Post II

We are now a full month into the 2018 season and despite the struggles of some of the big names (Giancarlo Stanton), the Yankees put together a solid first month that was capped with an exciting nine game winning streak. As new manager Aaron Boone and this Yankee team continue to find their footing, they will to look towards the veterans and young stars to settle in and produce like they are capable of. The lineup has gotten a shot in the arm from the additions of energetic youngsters Miguel Andujar and Gleyber Torres but one place where they have not gotten that from is the leadoff spot and longtime leadoff man Brett Gardner. With some prospects and familiar names starting to get healthy and Gardy struggling mightily it's fair to wonder, is his playing time in jeopardy if he doesn't pick it up?
